Designed by Craig Wallace, a spokesperson for Radical Independent Music said “We were absolutely bowled over that Craig was able to take time out of his intensive preparations for the second issue of Sogo – the new Scottish based quarterly lifestyle and arts publication, which promotes and provides a platform for Scottish creative industries and communities – given how successful the launch of the first issue has been.

Based on the design principles of Bauhaus – which is the philosophy and approach we are taking for the look and feel of our new vintage vinyl record store, with integral Italian coffee shop, art gallery and music tuition rooms – Craig’s innovative logo design enables us to roll-out a very exciting, flexible, but constant theme in our marketing and branding across what will be a diverse range of music services that will be launched over the next few months.

The search is on for premises in Edinburgh and we fully expect that the store will be located within a two mile radius of the city centre, with a targeted opening month of September/October 2015.

Edinburgh has enjoyed many fine vinyl record stores over the years, but the city will not have seen anything quite like this before.  We can’t wait to get up and running!”
